ATLBIMMERS OCTOBER MEET WAS THE BIGGEST THIS YEAR!

If you missed the ATLBIMMERS Meet from Saturday October 24, 2015 you missed a good one.  We had representation from all of the Metro Area BMW groups(Bmw CCA, M-Atlanta, Bimmernation, A-Town M Club and ATLBIMMERS.)    We all came together for a great meet.   We met at Von Maur at Perimeter Mall.  Close to 50 cars came out.  We also had cars from Evolution Atlanta(Mitsubishi EVO), the Suburu crew and Mercedes of Atlanta.   Make sure you don't miss the next one!

MFest Atlanta Meet and Greet

Unfortunately I didn't get to take a lot of photos for the event.  Considering the fact that it was raining like crazy, the turnout was pretty good.  It looked like all of the BMW crews came out and it was great seeing everyone.  Yours truly won a full day of M-School at the BMW Plant in Spartanburg, SC courtesy of United BMW of Roswell.  Thanks to Justin Hoisington - General Manager and Billey Futey - M Sales Specialist for making this happen.  Thanks to Mountain Motorsports for hosting us and to our Sponsor Solomotorsports for coming out as well as thanks to all the participating vendors.   Special thanks to Jonathan Balcos the CFO of MFest for the South Region for putting this all together.

MFest Caravan - Perimeter Mall 9AM Leaving at 9:30 SHARP! March 22, 2015

There will be several groups coming from different parts of the city. If we all want to park together for MFest then we need to arrive together. A group leaving from United BMW Gwinnett will be meeting us at Perimeter Mall at 9:00am. Departure is 9:30am sharp! Our 10 Cars representing the ATLBIMMERS group will be lined up as well. We will be rolling with M-Atlanta. They will take the lead on the way since this is there original caravan.

MFest Pre Meet Coding Session - Bimmer Service Center Roswell Sunday 3-21-15

Finally, MFest is coming to Atlanta! CodeMyCar will be one of the official sponsors and they have offered us discounted pricing to show their support. Due to so much demand, they will provide coding on the day before MFest, Saturday, March 21st as well as at MFest on Sunday. Bimmer Service Center (http://bimmersroswell.com/) has been kind enough to host this pre-meet event.

AMP Tour Photos March 2013

Caffeine and Octane is this weekend October 7th

Caffeine and Octane is this Sunday October 7 at 7AM.  The three clubs will be meeting at Cracker Barrel at 6AM for breakfast and then rolling over to the show.  Parking at the show is limited and fills up very quickly so please get there early if you don't plan to caravan or have breakfast.   If you don't know how to get to Caffeine and Octane please email me for directions at atlbimmers@yahoo.com

OFFICIAL TRACK DAY AT AMP FOR THE BMW CLUBS

Its officially here.   The Atlanta Motorsports Park official track day for the BMW clubs.  The price is $195 and the date is Monday October 29, 2012.  The fees and the event is being handled by A-Town M Club.  If you are interested in participating contact Chris at Atownmclub@aol.com.   He will give you the directions on how to send the payment via paypal.  If you don't have a helmet you can rent one from AMP.   If you have any track related questions about track please contact Bruce Schonk at Bruce@100mphlunch.   ATLBIMMERS, A-TOWN M CLUB AND M-Atlanta will be participating.

ATLBIMMERS MEET SUNDAY JULY 22, 2012 5PM Dantanna's at the Shops at Lenox

 
Our first official meet in 2-3 months. You know the drill. The shops at Lenox. Eating at Dantanna's is not required. Sunday July 22, 5PM (weather permitting since it seems to want to storm everyday lately). If you guys want to do the cruise-in from the varsity let me know. So I can update the blog.  A-Town M Club, and M-Atlanta and the Bimmerforums crew have been invited as usual.  Come on out guys and gals and check out the rides!

Import Alliance Pre-Meet Sunday April 22 7AM at the Varsity

This weekend is packed with events so you guys will have to choose wisely. I'm going to post the other events taking place as well however, here is the pre-meet location for the drive-in to Import Alliance. Unfortunately I cannot attend Import Alliance due to a family situation. Chris from A-Town M Club will be leading the group. M-Atlanta should also be meeting there as well.

The plan is to meet at the Varsity at 7AM on Sunday morning. I'm thinking you guys will leave between 7:30 and 8AM but I will confirm with Chris. Lets get a count of who is coming? We have some guys coming from out of town that are attending.  I know of two in particular from E90post.com  JSCO from South Carolina with the famous Vossen BMW and Manny_World from Florida.

Performing Imports Mountain Run - April 21 8:30AM

 
Hey all you Mountain Run Guys and Gals!

Ron at Performing Imports will be hosting a Mountain Run to test their new 335 Dinan Car out. It's a great route that not too many folks know about. The shop will be hosting a free Lunch at the end of the Run.


The Date is April 21st 
They will be meeting at Starbucks Exit 13 GA 400 at 8:30AM Departing at 8:35am Sharp
They will return to the Shop at 11:45 and have Lunch at 12

Caffeine and Octane Update - Breakfast or Caravan

 

For those that want to eat breakfast lets just do Waffle House like we always do at 6:30AM and we go to the show at 7AM sharp or if you want to meet at Waffle House get there by 7AM.

For those that do not want to eat and want to caravan from Vinings/Smyrna meet with Greg at Buckhead Imports at 6:30 and ride from there and they are leaving at 6:45-7AM

Remember guys people are arriving earlier and earlier to the show so try to get there early.

Thanks to everyone that came out today. The meet was fun and that drive from the Varsity to Dantana's was crazy! Glad there weren't any blue lights out because we really pushed it hard.  There were a lot of new faces with all different kinds of rides. Greg from Buckhead Imports brought out the E39 M5 Supercharged beast and a supercharged E46 M3.  We had a rare appearance of a nice 850CI as well.  I won't be able to make it to Bimmeworld Tuesday but I will be at Caffeine and Octane this Sunday.  Here are the photos:

ATLBIMMERS Monthly Meet and Cruise-In from the Varsity to Dantanna's - Sunday March 25 3:30PM

Aight guys and gals,

Third time is a charm, hopefully.   We will meet at Dantanna's  in the Shops at Lenox. For those that would like to stay and eat there will be several NBA games on around 6-7PM
 Keep in mind that if it is raining there will be low turnout.  I tried to check the forecast and it looks like its only going to rain on Friday and Saturday.  So maybe we will be in luck.

We will do a cruise-in from the Varsity.  We will meet at the Varsity between 3:30 and 4PM.  The meet at Dantanna's will be at 5PM.  If you plan on going to Dantanna's park in the Shops at Lenox(Do not go to the mall or you will be booted!)

Caffeine and Octane Photos From the March Show

Something about sunshine that brings out the baddest rides!   This was the first great weather Caffeine and Octane of the year and it was a great one.  Not only did this Lexus LFA come out, but there was also a Lamborghini Aventador in attendance.  The parking lot was packed by 8:30AM and parking was tough to come by.  We met the A-Town M Club at Waffle House prior to going to the show and we ran into the M-Atlanta group at the show.   Anyway, enough talk, here are the photos!

Atlanta Motorsports Park Tour and R&I Motorsports Open House

If you didn't make it out to the Atlanta Motorsports Park Tour and the R&I Motorsports Open House you missed a good one! The guys from M-Atlanta and the A-Town M Club all came out with the Atlbimmers crew and we had 34 cars in attendance. Special thanks to Anthony of M-Atlanta and Chris of A-Town M Club for getting their guys together. We got a chance to do a parade lap around the track and I rode with one of my buddies that had a V10 M5 and it was powerful. After the tour we drove over to Roswell to visit John over at R&I Motorsports. He had pizza and drinks for everyone and we all had fun hanging out and talking BMW's. It was a ton of fun and I look forward to doing another event soon. Special thanks to Bruce over at AMP for inviting us out. Atlbimmers Monthly Meet and Cruise-in - Sunday February 19. 2012 starts at 3:30PM at the Varsity.

We will try to do this again this Sunday Feb 19, 2012.   We will meet at Slack's in the new Town Brookhaven.  I will be sort of celebrating my birthday(which is Saturday) but nothing big planned.  Consider it more of another normal meet.

The address is b1250, 305 Brookhaven Avenue  Atlanta, GA 30319.

When you turn into Town Brookhaven, go past Publix and go into the round about and turn right behind the apartments. Slacks is located toward the end of the plaza across from Costco and next to LA Fitness.   It's sort of in the cut so look for it.  We will try to park by the fence across from Slacks.

We will do a cruise-in from the Varsity.  We will meet at the Varsity between 3:30 and 4PM.  The meet at Slacks will be at 5PM.
