M-ATLANTA Is having their meet and greet on Saturday Feb 11, 2012 at Buckhead Imports in Smyrna from 10AM-2PM.  The address is  1500 Cumberland Parkway Southeast  Smyrna, GA 30080-6459. Get to know the M-ATLANTA club members as well as meet the staff at Buckhead Imports and learn all about what Buckhead Imports has to offer.  M-ATLANTA members consist primarily of e39 and e60 M5's and e63 M6's.  So come out, network and have some fun.

The Vossen meet turned out pretty well.  The BMW's took over.  M-Atlanta came out with a bang with several M5's and about six M6's.   There weren't a lot of exotics but BMW and Lexus truly represented.

Since our meet for Sunday was canceled let's all attend the Vossen Wheels meet this Saturday January 28, 2012 at 2PM.  There will be lots of other kinds of cars but BMW will be very well represented.  Here is the information below:

This will be another multi-car meet with multiple luxury marques invited as well as sports cars and maybe another exotic or two!! Bo, the owner of Tilted Kilt an fellow enthusiast off course offers attendees a discount on food so all attendees mention you are there for the Vossen meet, thanks Redpaste!! For those interested in Vossen Wheels there will be Vossen equipped cars at the meet so you can see the product for yourselves. This is open to everyone!

ATLBIMMERS MONTHLY MEET CANCELED DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER COMING IN

Due to severe weather coming in between 3-6PM I've decided to cancel today's Meet.  I realize that most of us do not like driving our Bimmers in heavy rain and I figured the turnout would be very low with inclimate weather coming in.  Also guys, I would like to get your email addresses so I can notify you in the event we have another cancellation.  I'm starting a distribution list.  Send me your name and email address to atlbimmers@yahoo.com and I will add you to the list.  This makes it much easier for me to notify everyone in case something changes.

Inclement Weather Monthly Meet Update for Jan 22.2011

As of right now the meet is still taking place, however please check back on this site to find out the status of Sunday's meet.  I don't want to bring everybody out if the weather is too bad and most of us don't like driving our Bimmers in heavy rain anyway.  Hopefully the rain will ease up by Sunday, but if not I will post another message and let you know whether the meet will be canceled.

Atlbimmers Monthly Meet and Cruise-in - Sunday January 22, 2011

Aight guys,

The next meet will be on Sunday Jan 22, 2012 as requested.  We will meet at Slack's in the new Town Brookhaven.  I figure I'd try a different spot although Dantana's did work out really well.   Town Brookhaven is off of Peachtree St. 

The address is b1250, 305 Brookhaven Avenue  Atlanta, GA 30319.

When you turn into Town Brookhaven, go past Publix and go into the round about and turn right behind the apartments. Slacks is located toward the end of the plaza across from Costco.   It's sort of in the cut so look for it. 

We will do a cruise-in from the Varsity.  We will meet at the Varsity between 3:30 and 4PM.  The meet at Slacks will be at 5PM.

Caffeine and Octane Photos From Jan 1, 2012

What a way to start the New Year!   The turnout for Caffeine and Octane was relatively low but there were still some great cars that showed up.  The show stealer to me was the Shelby Daytona Coupe Replica.  As far as I know there are only 2 in GA.  The Porsche Carrerra GT drew a large crowd as well as a Maserati Gran Turismo Convertible.  The BMW M3 crew was in the house representing with three E46 convertibles.  So anyway here are the photos.  ENJOY!
