   The ATLBIMMERS shirts will have to be redesigned.  Our T-Shirt company Zazzle cancelled our orders due to possible copyright issues.  So its back to the drawing board.  More than likely we will keep the logo as it is but take away the BMW elements.

Hello everyone,

For those that made it to Caffeine and Octane you know it was a great one.  The weather was very nice and it brought out the best of the best.  I think this was one of the largest turnouts this summer.  There were a lot of nice classics and a lot of exotics.  The BMW Crew and the Nissan/Infiniti crew both had large turnouts.  I would advise you not to miss it next time as it continues to get better and better.  Anyway, here are the photos.

ATLBIMMERS is looking for Sponsors.  We would like to come up with more creative events where our members are able to do something different, such as track days or dyno days.  We are also looking to help Independent and Tuning shops get more customers and more exposure by helping them with their open houses.   Please feel free to contact us at atlbimmers@yahoo.com.  Our members mainly consist of 3-series BMW's but we have other groups that we work with such as M-Atlanta that drive M5's and M6's, A-Town M-Club that drive E46 M3's and the Bimmerforums crew that drive classic BMW's.   Atlbimmers likes to help merge all of the different facets of BMW's in the Atlanta area to make one big group.

This is our 4th year in Atlanta and we are expecting a huge turnout. We had over 2800 cars attend last year and we are expecting even more this year. We have moved it to a new location at Turner Field so that we have room to grow.
Admission is $10.00 per car.

Atlbimmers Monthly Meet and Cruise-in - Sunday February 19. 2012 starts at 3:30PM at the Varsity.

Aight guys and gals,

We will try to do this again this Sunday Feb 19, 2012.   We will meet at Slack's in the new Town Brookhaven.  I will be sort of celebrating my birthday(which is Saturday) but nothing big planned.  Consider it more of another normal meet.

The address is b1250, 305 Brookhaven Avenue  Atlanta, GA 30319.

When you turn into Town Brookhaven, go past Publix and go into the round about and turn right behind the apartments. Slacks is located toward the end of the plaza across from Costco and next to LA Fitness.   It's sort of in the cut so look for it.  We will try to park by the fence across from Slacks.

We will do a cruise-in from the Varsity.  We will meet at the Varsity between 3:30 and 4PM.  The meet at Slacks will be at 5PM.

Caffeine and Octane Photos From Jan 1, 2012

What a way to start the New Year!   The turnout for Caffeine and Octane was relatively low but there were still some great cars that showed up.  The show stealer to me was the Shelby Daytona Coupe Replica.  As far as I know there are only 2 in GA.  The Porsche Carrerra GT drew a large crowd as well as a Maserati Gran Turismo Convertible.  The BMW M3 crew was in the house representing with three E46 convertibles.  So anyway here are the photos.  ENJOY!

Caffeine and Octane is Sunday January 1st 2012 7AM - 11AM

Hey guys and gals.  Caffeine and Octane is here again, and it is Sunday January 1st, 2012.  This one is going to be interesting because plenty of people will be partying the night before. So I'm wondering how the turnout will be.   But I think it should still be pretty good.  I don't think I'm going to party. My wife and I are going to do something simple.  So I should be there.  It will be at the same location as last month, Its off of Windward Parkway west of 400. We’ve got access to 2 lots. One in front of an office building, and the other around a group of restaurants. One of those eateries, Mambo Jambo will be open for breakfast.

LAST ATLBIMMERS MONTHLY MEET OF THE YEAR! SUNDAY DEC. 18 5PM DANTANA'S BUCKHEAD

Hey Guys and Gals,

It is the last meet of 2011 and it should be a good one.   The crew will meet back in Buckhead where we all started.  We will be meeting at Dantana's Buckhead.  We will park at the The SHOPS AT LENOX parking lot.(******VERY IMPORTANT***** IF  YOU PARK AT THE SHOPS AT LENOX DO NOT GO ANYWHERE OTHER THAN DANTANA'S OR THE SHOPS.  DO NOT WALK OVER TO LENOX MALL, THEY WILL BOOT YOUR CAR!)   Parking is not a problem as long as we go to Dantanas.  The M-Atlanta crew which consist of M5'S AND M6'S should be in the house for this one, so don't miss it. They will be there to discuss a track day that they are doing at Talladega at the end of the month.  The usual crew should be on hand as well.  Anyone is invited as before mods or not.  See you there!

Caffeine and Octane Dec 4. Revenge of the Aventador!

If you missed Caffeine and Octane you missed a treat.  It seems like I say this every month LOL!  Well this month the show was in a new location off of Windward Parkway which was about 2 exits up from the old location.  The new location was very nice and had a restaurant called Mambo Jambo Cafe that had a all you can eat breakfast buffet which was actually pretty good.  There were bathrooms available thanks to the restaurant and plenty of parking spaces.  The new location brought out some old faces.  The Ford Club came out with their Cobras, Eleanor(67 Mustang) and Ford GT 40's.  But the new face that arrived was the Lamborghini Aventador.   It was beautiful! This is the model that replaced the Murcielago.  Anyway It was quite impressive. Also the Fisker Karma came out once again and it was a crowd pleaser, but the Aventador was the show stealer.  It had a crowd around it the whole show.

For the past 3 years it's been running strong and it's back again:

Time: 12:00am till whenever we stop
Route: 100miles, only shared with registered attendees.


This Midnight Cruise is nothing, but raw seat time while you cruise with cars such as Ferrari F430, GTR, Viper, NSX, STI, EVO, Z06, Lotus, 911 Turbo, GT2, M3, M5, Classic Muscle cars, and other highly modified cars. We see all these cars at car shows all the time, but how many times do you get to cruise & play with them?

As usual there will be a private dinner for all the attendees as a well known local restaurant. Post Midnight Cruise, space will be reserved at a local restaurant for everyone to go back, network, and brag...I mean share their experience.

Cost for the event is $40 per person.

Butler Tire Alpharetta Show and Shine - Saturday October 29th 11AM -3PM

Looks like the Alpharetta Show and Shine is going to have a very large turnout.  The forums are really buzzing about it.  The Bimmerforums guys will be in full effect (20+) and so will the Lexus crew.  If I make it out I probably won't be in the Bimmer, I'll be in the enemy, my Lexus LS 400.    But here are the details:

We've had a couple years hiatus from this annual event and it's time to get it back up and running! Last time we had ~125 cars and our parking lot was PACKED. We'll be giving away a bunch of stuff and have food and drinks on the premises, so bring your whole family!

It's a day of "B”, BMW and Bar B Q, Harry's Farmers Market is have a Pitmasters BBQ Competition on Saturday, 09/24/11. So lets bring our favorite BMW for an impromptu gathering in Harry's Parking lot to see what's new and old in the Bimmer world and then stay to see how has the best BBQ in North Fulton! Enjoy good conversation slathered with a layer of Q. We can all meet and park in the front parking lot on the far right hand side. Doors open at 8:00 a.m. for coffee and the cook off starts at 12p.m.- 5p.m. Look forward to seeing everyone there.
